Parking & attendance There are many parking spaces (parking meter, 24/7), but the site is a frequented by many divers and swimmers, especially in summer and during the weekend.
Entrance / Exit There is a 70 m stretch were diving is prohibited due to the danger of rockfalls under water. Use the steps under the hill with the head sculpture. From there, swim to the right around 30-40 m on the surface. Where the gravel parking lot is is also the triangular sign indicating the end of the restricted area. You should of course also resurface at this point and swim back.
Description From the entry, swim around 30-40 m to the right on the surface — danger of rockfalls under water! Where the gravel parking lot is is also the triangular sign indicating the end of the restricted area. Straight down to ca. 12 m, where the edge of the wall is. Follow the edge with the wall on your right side. The relatively smooth wall becomes ever deeper and steeper, sometimes overhanging. Once the edge reaches 35 m, start going up. At a depth of 14-18m is a conveyor belt to be seen. At 13 m is a diving bell — do not inhale the air contained in it. In spring, toads lay their eggs in the shallows.
Toilets Yes, but closed during the cold months. A tree, a shrub, or a bush will then have to do the trick.
Remark There is a defibrillator on site.
Emergency phone number 144 (and tell them that it is a diving accident and that the Rega should be informed)
